Projects of the Pacific Medical Research Foundation

The Pacific Medical Research Foundation has a history of being involved in important research related to diabetes treatment and education.  In the past, PMRF has been involved in:

  • Clinical Research using disease management software over the Internet to improve the care and patient involvement of people with diabetes.
  • Arranging for patients receiving the internal pumps to donate their external pumps to new users.
  • Presenting the Foundation's research findings at national and regional medical conferences.
  • Evaluating new technologies that visually depict the amount of glucose in capillaries.
  • Providing pre-med students experience in clinical diabetes.
